Migrate to a Meta account or your old Oculus account gets deleted Meta says
You might want to migrate your Oculus account to a Meta one as soon as possible if you haven't already. The company notifies users via email that on March 29th, 2024, Oculus accounts will be deleted. This will prevent users from being able to reactivate or retrieve their apps, in-app purchases, store credits, and other items. If you don't switch to a Meta account before then, you'll lose all of your accomplishments, friends list, and content made with your Oculus account.
Since 2020, when the company formerly known as Facebook began mandating new users to sign up with Facebook accounts instead, Oculus accounts have been discontinued. In 2022, it did, however, allow users to create a Meta account as an alternative if they chose not to connect their Quest headset to their Facebook account. In January 2023, Meta stopped allowing users to access their Oculus accounts. It's your last chance to switch from an Oculus to a Meta account if you have a Quest collecting dust in a drawer.

By visiting auth.meta.com and creating a Meta account using the same email address you used to sign up for Oculus, you can migrate your account. You will then have access to all of the same games, information, and other purchases that have been saved to your Oculus account.
